The $10 Pedicure
I found the secret to getting a cheap pedicure while I was unemployed. Most salons will let you do what's called a "repaint" for $5 on your hands and $10 on your feet. They still file and shape the nails and paint the color of your choice. This is also a great option if you're in a hurry or don't like having your feet rubbed if you're at all ticklish like I am!
Unruly Brows?
Many women have missed the conversation that unruly eyebrows are a no-no. So you can either go and get them waxed, shaped and trimmed at your local salon (many nail salons do this as well) or you can handle it yourself. If you'd rather do it yourself, here's a secret- after plucking and trimming them, you can spray a little hairspray on a toothbrush to comb into place. Of course there are cosmetics out there you can buy (Mac makes a great one!) but this other cheap trick works too.
